We also have books for parents, including some that record them reading to their child.

FREE YMCA MEMBERSHIP FOR DEPENDENT YOUTH IN KITSAP, PIERCE COs.

The YMCAs of Pierce and Kitsap Counties offer free memberships to any dependent youth or children that reside in their area without the GAL [Guardian Ad Litem] needing to fill out the voucher request form!

This means that foster parents, relatives and fictive kin placements can go to the Y and, using the placement letter that is provided to them by DSHS as documentation, will be given free youth and child memberships. Additionally, youth in in-home dependencies are eligible.

This can be a great opportunity for kids in dependency programs.
